I have been involved in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and I bring an immense amount of hospitality management, personnel training and recruitment experience to Off to Work.

I first started in hospitality at the ripe old age of 17 as a porter at Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham. After successfully studying a BA (Hons) Degree in Hospitality management at Bournemouth University, I was then part of the opening team of the five star Regent London Hotel, now The Landmark Hotel.

I then expanded my hospitality and events management knowledge and understanding through 8 years’ management experience working in exceptional London venues: Madame Tussaud’s & The Natural History Museum. This experience included managing in-house contract caterers and exceptionally high profile events including Royal Galas and seven London Fashion Weeks.

I was then headhunted by First Protocol to continue in event management, dealing with clients such as BT and MasterCard, and managing all events that came through the venue Vinopolis.

Following my industry experience I left First Protocol to set-up Off to Work. The company was formed with the maxim that something better could be added to the industry in terms of the quality of staff that were being brought into it and the way that they are dealt with. Off to Work was to provide a professional, customer focused and courteous service to both external and internal customers. This philosophy remains the rudder to Off to Work’s success with our guiding principal being to Enable Amazing Experiences for our clients, partners and team.

I believe in a CANI (Constant and Never-ending Innovation) approach to business and I’m always looking to improve the service of Off to Work and to create additional synergy with our clients at every opportunity. I remain hugely passionate about the hospitality and events industry and the exceptional talent in the UK. I have been a member of ILEA (International Live Events Association) for 15 years, and was UK President in 2012. I am continually promoting the exceptional career opportunities the industry has to offer.
