My career in hospitality began at the age of 16, during my summer break, when I worked as a waitress in order to raise some funds for my holiday. I spent the years that followed juggling my work life and my studies until I completed my degree in journalism.
My professional career started with a job as an editorialist, but things changed quickly, and I ended up in London in 2016. I worked as a receptionist at The Hippodrome Casino and worked my way up to Events and Sales during the Magic Mike Show (I’ve seen it… SPICY!). In this role, I arranged birthday and hen parties for ladies looking to watch the show, as well as stag parties for those interested in a night of roulette and poker.
Then the pandemic hit. During this time, I completed my second degree in Human Resources Management and Business. As fate would have it, Off to Work entered my life just in time, with a role blending the hospitality sector with my dream career. I jumped at the opportunity and have not looked back since…
