I’ve been involved in marketing since university where I created content to promote the final year productions at the Manchester School of Theatre.
After graduating I worked for a few years within the hospitality and events industry at various hospitality staffing agencies, working at venues including the Tower of London and Butcher’s Hall. I also worked as a brand ambassador on campaigns for House of Vans and Fairy Liquid.
At the same time, I was continuing my work in content creation, working with media production house Scenes of Reason on the launch of their video news service for 16-25s.
Between 2017 and 2021, I worked as an Account Manager for Off to Work, where I was responsible for managing client relationships and bookings. I gained a unique insight into the requirements of our clients and the hospitality industry whilst working on projects including Cheltenham Gold Cup and the British Grand Prix.
I then moved onto a new role working with premium bar supplier The Cocktail Service, creating marketing campaigns capturing their work with drink brand clients. I also marketed their direct-to-consumer brand The Cocktail Society. This was an incredible learning experience which saw me developing content marketing strategies and seeing my work published in Master of Malt, The Caterer, and the national press. I was also responsible for the planning and execution of brand activations at BBC Good Food Show, Pub in the Park, and Blenheim Palace.
I’m a strong advocate for the positive impact hospitality can have in promoting social mobility. I’m now thrilled to be re-joining the Off to Work team and bring my knowledge of marketing and our client’s requirements to create unique campaigns highlighting the creativity and passion within the hospitality industry.
